ABOUT THE SERIES

The Estonian Drift Superfinals took place at Raassilla on 18 and 19 September 2026. I was there photographing on Saturday, 19 September. This gallery brings together daytime tandem runs, cars and people in the paddock, and the evening Night Race.

For me, the highlight was photographing at night. I used an 85 mm f/1.8 portrait lens. It was challenging, but I think I came away with some good shots. A few of them are here in the gallery.

After a summer in Portugal and Spain, Raassilla meant getting used to fast cars and Estonian light again. I had a slightly different plan for the evening, and two portrait lenses with me.
